 Have you ever sat in the concert or in church, listen to a professional pianist/keyboard player and say something like this to yourself  “wow that pianist/keyboard player is doing a lot! How does he remember all of that?! How does he know what to use and where? Then you are probably in the same stage of musical development like I was sometime ago till I discovered that there are little theories to it here and there which can also be relatively easy to understand if followed stage by stage. The most interesting thing about this is, once you have understood each theory, your mind would then be opened to countless possibilities and when you begin to realize this, That’s exactly when you begin to see this things like the pros, And then you can grow from there to any level you want to get to as you continue to explore. So haven’t said that, let us get into some passing chord concepts and the various theories there is to them. Here are some concepts we would do justice to in this series;

1.  Secondary Dominant Passing chord

2.  Dominant 7                   ,,            ,,

we would learn all there is to this each and every one of this topics one after the other in this series.

 In other to accommodate all the information available, All various topics in this series would be published one topic per article so as to ensure thorough explanation to enhance understanding, how ever topics like the major and minor 2 5 1 passing might be combined because they are well related topics. However, music is dynamic so just in case there are any changes that would warrant covering them on separate articles.. you might find them on different post.
